What to Know Before You Bid
reserves & minimum bids
However, minimum bids of ½ the lowest estimate are needed to purchase an item. For example, an item valued at $600 with a presale estimate of $500 – $700 will need a minimum bid of $250 to sell.
invoicing
Shipping is calculated and added to your invoice based on the item’s value, box size, and distance to destination. All purchases must be made within 72 hours of the auction closing.
auction extensions
Any bids submitted within 10 minutes before the end of an auction will extend the time by 2 minutes. If no bids are submitted within the extended minute, the auction ends, and the highest bidder wins.
guaranteed descriptions
Multiple photos of all items sold, along with guaranteed descriptions, allow you to bid with confidence. A 20% buyer’s premium will be added to all hammer prices.
